New Results Generator

As we develop great features, I have had to ask myself are they working. Are they necessary? And are these features even relevant to our target users? This question left my development team to sit back and strategize on a results focused module.

The new Results Generator will take a snapshot of all features, statistics, numbers and details of the Netgen tools and their usage.

Without a road map, technology is just code. This realization will come to life this Friday (8/20/2010) with the first release of the Netgen Results Generator v1.0

Another Successful Integration

We have successfully integrated with a well respected and robust back office company for two of our new clients.

The ByDesign Technology team gave us a warm welcome throughout this process. Through the initial integration and testing of all pass through points, By Design was very professional and efficient to work with. We both look forward to the successful implementation from Nuriche and Asantae.

Nuriche and Asantae are now equipped with a powerful front and back office application. What MLM Software To Choose

Web-Hosted Software: Compliance as a Service

Web-hosted software can keep you in line with ever-changing regulations.  

Who's best able to make sure your company stays up to date and compliant in the face of ever changing regulations and standards? For a growing number of companies, the answer is a software-as-a-service provider. A recent Gartner study found 15 to 20 percent of responding companies, both large and small, use web-hosted software to track compliance. And more companies are using Web-hosted software to oversee compliance every year, Gartner found.  

What's the attraction? As with all software-as-a-service (SaaS), it allows the company to avoid using IT staff to oversee a non-core function. "Using software to manage compliance and compliance reporting becomes too big a burden for a small organization with limited resources," explains Dariel LeBoeuf, senior vice president of communications and education services at TraceSecurity, a SaaS provider that helps companies with governance, risk management and compliance (GRC). "They tell us they don't have the staff to keep up with the regulations," he says.  

Does a Web-hosted compliance solution make sense for your company? It might, especially if any of the following apply:


-You need to achieve compliance fast. "That's one of the basic benefits of SaaS," LeBoeuf says. "The deployment efforts and infrastructure needed to support it is minimal, so you get a positive result much more quickly." Using Web-hosted software can also help you more quickly prepare to demonstrate compliance to regulators.  

-You fear losing institutional knowledge. "In the environmental and safety industries, a lot of people are nearing retirement," notes Michele Hincks, vice president of marketing at Enviance, a SaaS provider that helps companies keep compliant with environmental, health and safety regulations. "Once they leave, they're gone, and if something is in a spreadsheet or a log book, it might not be easy for their replacements to use that information without a lot of training. Putting in a system likes ours can reduce that training time."  

-You're preparing for a different regulatory future. One good example of this may be greenhouse gas emissions: Hincks points out that both Barack Obama and John McCain have declared themselves in favor of a "cap-and-trade" system in which companies would buy and sell polluting "credits". If such legislation is enacted, it would immediately create a large market for such credits and make demonstrating compliance much more difficult. "Companies will need to have a standardized system, and they'll need a way to measure pollution that can be audited and certified, because now it will be a financial instrument," she says.  

-You need to keep down upfront costs. The Gartner report notes that the SaaS model (which usually involves an ongoing monthly fee) may not save money in the long run, compared with the purchase of a software license. But it definitely reduces initial expenses, and provides you with an operating, rather than capital, expense for tax purposes.

Where is the Front Office log in?

Here is a chance to get your company involved with a tool set that will change your company as you know it. Do you have a back office log-in? Of course you do. Do you have a front office log-in? Ninety percent of companies don't.

You may be asking what a front office log in is. Briefly, it’s the place where you market and manage your content, email drips, lead forms, leads and web pages. Anything your customer sees or is contacted with is flowing out of the front-office.

Right now, when a new distributor signs up, how is that new person to market the business? With only the marketing fliers you sell on your web page or at your events. We all know that ordering business cards and fliers through the back office is not the definitive answer to growing a business right?

How about a front office they can log into that contains professionally written drip email campaigns by corporate, the ones who know how to sell the business and products best. If distributors were allowed to use lead capture forms they could post them on social media sites, which would surely create some added business right? How about an area where they can order print materials indicating their email and phone number, but also a link to a full campaign they created. A campaign consisting of a web page with a lead form sending leads right to an email drip system and into their lead box for action?

Your distributors are going out and using five or more software services, creating their own unbranded rogue websites and saying anything they want through email services and social media. That is not the answer to properly marketing the product. All this is doing is diluting the brand and the message you want them to convey when representing your company.

What No Leotard? Retro-Fitness

It was the decade that wrapped itself in Spandex, pulled on pink leg warmers without irony and felt the burn with Jane Fonda and Richard Simmons.

And now, the '80s are fueling yet another fitness craze: Retrofitness--Eric Casaburi's chain of 1980s theme gyms. In just five years, the New Jersey-based franchisor has sprouted 54 clubs on the East Coast.

"Nostalgia for the 1980s has never disappeared," says Casaburi, 35. And let's face it, neither has the ridiculous fun of hair bands and Sixteen Candles.
